The Christianity Arising Conference began in 2022, hosted at the Ebeneezer Camp in Loogootee, Indiana. Marc Carrier and his family invited a small group of people to gather and spend the week together. Marc taught all of the lessons each day, and then everyone was divided into small groups for discussion times. Cindy and several other ladies did all the meal prep and child care for the attendees and a small group helped with the worship time. After their first conference, people were excited about the things they learned and the ways they had grown spiritually. Marc and his family felt led to continue to host these events until God told them otherwise.

Over time, a steady group of people kept returning to the event to help with the conference and soon a team was born. In 2026, Marc handed all of the teaching over to a group of men that he had discipled. Marc and Cindy continue to organize and invest heavily in the conferences throughout the year and play a key role in the leadership team. Most of the conferences have been held in Indiana, but there have been some weekend events in other states.
